How to Stream the 50th Anniversary Special of the American Music Awards Online for Free

The American Music Awards (AMAs) will officially return in May 2025, but CBS and Dick Clark Productions are set to present a special 50th Anniversary Celebration on Sunday, October 6, 2024. This two-hour event will honor five decades of music and the AMAs' legacy with star-studded performances and exclusive footage.

EGOT winner Jennifer Hudson will pay tribute to Whitney Houston, a 22-time AMA winner, with a special performance. Gladys Knight, who graced the stage at the inaugural AMAs in 1974, will perform “Midnight Train to Georgia.” The lineup also features Kane Brown, Mariah Carey, Green Day, Stray Kids, Brad Paisley, and RAYE.
