 Dave Grohl's daughter, Violet, appears to have deactivated her Instagram following news that her father recently welcomed a fourth daughter outside of his marriage.

On Tuesday, Sept. 10, the Foo Fighters frontman shared a statement on Instagram revealing that he had fathered a child with another woman, outside of his marriage to his wife of 23 years, Jordyn Blum. As of Tuesday afternoon, Violet, Grohl's 18-year-old daughter, has deactivated her Instagram account, although the exact timing of her decision is unclear.

Grohl and Blum share three daughters: Violet, 18, Harper, 15, and Ophelia, 10.

In his Instagram statement, Grohl admitted, "I've recently become the father of a new baby daughter, born outside of my marriage. I plan to be a loving and supportive parent to her. I love my wife and children, and I am doing everything I can to regain their trust and earn their forgiveness." He also requested privacy for all the children involved as the family navigates this situation.

In June 2023, at the Glastonbury Festival, Grohl introduced Violet on stage before performing a track from his band's latest album, But Here We Are. "My favorite singer in the world," he said, as Violet joined him to perform the song "Show Me How," a tribute to Grohl's late mother and Violet’s grandmother.

Grohl’s family, including wife Jordyn and their three daughters, made a public appearance earlier this year at the 2023 Grammy Awards. The family smiled together on the red carpet, with each member showcasing their unique style. Grohl wore his signature black-rimmed glasses, while Blum opted for a short, black sequined dress with white lace. Violet paired a blazer dress and knee-high boots with red lipstick, Harper wore a floral dress with lug-sole boots, and Ophelia donned a flowy ombré dress with a gold purse.
