Packers Beat Colts at Lambeau to Achieve Milestone of 800 Wins as the First Franchise

One of the NFL's oldest franchises made history on Sunday at Lambeau Field.

The Green Bay Packers secured their 800th victory by defeating the Indianapolis Colts 16-10. This landmark win marked the first career start for quarterback Malik Willis, who stepped in for the injured Jordan Love. The Packers leaned on a strong ground game, with Josh Jacobs carrying the ball 32 times for 151 yards, contributing to a total of 261 rushing yards for the team.

With this victory, Green Bay (1-1) becomes the first team to reach the 800-win milestone, bringing their all-time record to 800-599-38. The Chicago Bears are second on the all-time wins list with a record of 794-634-42, heading into their Sunday night game.

Now in their 104th season, the Packers began their journey in 1921 as part of the American Professional Football Association. They rank as the third-oldest club in the NFL, behind only the Bears (originally the Decatur Staleys) and the Arizona Cardinals (originally the Chicago Cardinals).
