Strowman, 41, is the most notable name on the list. After being released by WWE in June 2021, the former Universal Champion made a return in September 2022. He recently appeared on "WWE SmackDown" and had a feud with United States Champion Jacob Fatu. Just two weeks ago, Strowman teamed with LA Knight against Fatu and Solo Sikoa in a tag match.
Kai and Dolan had more recent appearances as well. Kai participated in the Women's Intercontinental Championship match against the current champion, Lyra Valkyria. Dolan’s last appearance was in a Women's Tag Team Championship match alongside Tatum Paxley against Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez.
In the tag team division, Chance and Carter were a well-known duo and participated in the gauntlet match before WrestleMania 41, which set up the eventual clash between Morgan & Rodriguez and Valkyria & Becky Lynch.
WWE SmackDown will air Friday, just hours after these releases were announced.
