UNC football has announced the passing of wide receiver Tylee Craft following his battle with cancer.
CHAPEL HILL, N.C. — Tylee Craft, a former wide receiver for the University of North Carolina, has passed away following his battle with cancer, as confirmed by the university's football program.
On Saturday, the UNC football team announced Craft's death via their Facebook page.
“It is with love and fond memories that we announce Tylee Craft has begun his journey on the other side. He meant so much to so many and impacted our lives in ways for which we will always be grateful. Tylee was truly one of a kind, and while he may no longer be with us physically, his bright smile and boundless positivity will continue to watch over us.
On behalf of his family and our program, we extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who supported Tylee during his fight with cancer. Your support means more than you know.

To honor Craft, the football team wore shirts featuring his number, 13.
