Trump exhibits enthusiasm during his disjointed speech in Pennsylvania.
In a wide-ranging speech in must-win Pennsylvania on Saturday, Donald Trump reiterated key themes on the economy and immigration as he aims for victory in just over two weeks. However, his remarks often veered off topic.
Trump began with over ten minutes of enthusiastic praise for golf legend Arnold Palmer, whose namesake airport hosted the rally. He even made a quirky remark about Palmer’s locker room presence.
At various points, Trump did not hold back his criticism, calling Vice President Kamala Harris “a shit vice president” and suggesting that President Joe Biden should respond to countries threatening him with, “I’ll blow your country to pieces”—a reference seemingly aimed at Iran, which has long been hostile towards Trump.
Despite these digressions, the former president, energized by his rallies, appeared vigorous, aiming to counter Harris's claims that he is “exhausted on the campaign trail.” Earlier, during a radio interview, he dismissed that notion, accusing Harris's campaign of fabricating information and asserting it was she who lacked energy.

Meanwhile, Vice President Kamala Harris was in Georgia on Saturday evening, urging early voting in a state where turnout has surged. She highlighted the story of Amber Thurman, a Black woman who died due to delayed medical care related to Georgia's abortion restrictions.
Harris connected with the crowd in Atlanta by referencing former President Jimmy Carter, saying, “If Jimmy Carter can vote early, you can too.” She largely stuck to her prepared remarks, branding Trump as an “unserious man” and warning that his return to the White House could dismantle critical policies, such as capping insulin prices.
During her speech, Harris highlighted the case of Amber Thurman, whose parents were present at the event. She expressed her determination to honor Thurman’s memory, challenging the compassion of Trump’s remarks about the situation.
Before Harris took the stage, R&B star Usher appeared, emphasizing the significance of the election and rallying support from Georgians. Harris also had a star-studded day, earlier appearing with singer Lizzo in Detroit, where she called on voters to set early voting records.
Harris is gearing up for her 60th birthday on Sunday with plans to attend a church service focused on get-out-the-vote efforts, underscoring Georgia’s importance as a battleground state for both campaigns.

In a lighter moment, Trump kicked off his rally in Latrobe with a raunchy joke about Arnold Palmer, reminiscing about the golfer’s time in the locker room.

Both campaigns are closely monitoring voter turnout in Georgia, which has already set records for early voting. As the state prepares for the election, both Trump and Harris will continue their push for critical electoral votes, with upcoming events in metro Atlanta.
