Watch as fake heiress Anna Delvey makes her debut on 'DWTS' Season 33, dancing to Sabrina Carpenter’s ‘Espresso’—complete with her sparkly ankle monitor.

Anna Delvey is making quite the entrance in the ballroom—sporting a sparkling ankle monitor to match her dazzling outfit.

The notorious con artist, born Anna Sorokin, garnered attention during the Season 33 premiere of "Dancing With the Stars" on Tuesday night. Introduced as a “fashionista and entrepreneur,” the 33-year-old took to the dance floor in an eye-catching ensemble of ombre blue, purple, pink, and yellow, accentuated by a bedazzled ankle monitor that featured a playful bow.

The ankle monitor got a spotlight moment as Delvey performed the Cha-Cha to Sabrina Carpenter’s “Espresso.” In a pre-taped segment, the monitor became a comedic focal point when her partner, Ezra Sosa, noted its hindrance during rehearsals, saying, “That ankle monitor is kind of inhibiting you today.”

Before her dance, Delvey candidly explained the reason behind the device: “I overstayed my visa because I was in jail, so it’s kind of hard to leave,” she said with a chuckle. She added, “I did serve my time,” expressing her hope to reshape the public’s perception of her. “I reinvented myself many times, and this time I’m going to be a ballroom dancer.”

The judges praised her performance, awarding her three 6s. Derek Hough remarked, “You actually have the facility to be a really beautiful dancer. Truly, you really do,” while Bruno Tonioli made a playful reference to her past with, “Reinventing Anna… yet again! And it could be working!”

Carrie Ann Inaba addressed the mixed feelings in the room, stating, “When you came out on the dance floor, there was a shift in the energy… this is about your dancing here.”

Delvey expressed her desire for viewers to see a different side of her, saying, “I hope America will get a chance to see a different side of me.”

Despite the spotlight, Delvey noted that the ankle monitor has made public outings challenging. “I truly don’t want the ‘spectacle’ that comes with wearing the GPS tracker,” she explained. She admitted to trying to have fun with it by adding a rhinestone “A” to the device, joking, “I think, once or twice, it’s my right to bedazzle it.”

As she embraces this new chapter, Delvey continues to navigate the complexities of her past while aiming to shine on the dance floor.
