Police report that a body was discovered inside a Food Lion freezer in North Raleigh.

RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCN) — A man employed at Food Lion was discovered deceased in the store's supply freezer located on the 4500 block of Capital Boulevard in Raleigh, as reported by the Raleigh Police Department on Tuesday.

Authorities stated that employees found their colleague inside the freezer and alerted the police. Investigators determined that the man experienced a medical emergency on Monday night before passing away in the freezer.

The investigation conducted by the Raleigh Police Department, along with OSHA and other labor and safety agencies, found no evidence of foul play.
