"Dave Meltzer: WWE Star 'Relatively Certain' to Be Released"

Following his removal from WWE's roster page, it appears that one Monday Night Raw star may have parted ways with the company.

Odyssey Jones joined WWE in 2021, starting in NXT before being moved to the main roster in 2023. Despite his shift during that year's WWE Draft, Jones did not make any television appearances, leading to speculation about his future.

In recent weeks, Jones re-emerged on Raw, aligning with The New Day’s Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods in their feud against The Final Testament. However, tension brewed between Woods and Kingston, with Woods appearing uncertain about Jones, while Kingston supported the newcomer.

Given Jones’s recent appearances, it was unexpected when he was suddenly removed from WWE's official roster, casting doubt on his status.

Odyssey Jones Likely Done with WWE

During a segment on Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer commented that although he has not received official confirmation, he believes Odyssey Jones is no longer with WWE, especially since he wasn't mentioned on Raw:

"He was taken off the roster page. I’ve asked around to see if it was some kind of glitch, but I think by now it would have been corrected if that were the case. I'm relatively certain he's done, but it hasn't been confirmed anywhere. I've heard various stories, but nothing definitive; it looks like he's no longer with the company. There was no mention of him on the show, his storyline seems concluded, and there were no clips indicating an injury or any acknowledgment of him at all. Kofi Kingston appeared, but there was no mention of their previous angles, so he’s out, he’s gone."

Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods were seen on Raw in Denver, expressing their desire to pursue the WWE Tag Team Championship, without any reference to Jones.
